FAMILY DAY AND END OF SEASON AWARDS

Thank You to the huge numbers who turned out on the wettest of days to celebrate the end of a busy season with us. We are grateful mostly to our members and their families who supported us throughout the season and on Sunday. Many people were involved in (frantic) preparations for the day itself and we owe them a big Thanks too.
Special Guests who helped make the day a success for us included Tony Samuels representing the Galway & District League, Jim Noone for the Football Association of Ireland, Galway United players Vinny Faherty, David Cooke and Derek O'Brien. Galway native and Irish Senior Ladies International Méabh DeBúrca presented the Girls Awards. We thank them all.

We emphasise that in our eyes all of our players and volunteer Coaches and Officers are winners. Our goal is the promotion of health and well being for our players as they develop their understanding and skills in the game of soccer. Our annual awards enable us to show case the sterling efforts a few players and officers have gone to in extending the range of their own possibilities, in being dedicated to their club and their sport beyond what might be the norm, and in representing our club with honour, courage, fairness and distinction.
